Discover the welcoming design of Xekeo, captivating with softness, a combination of selected materials and expert hand-tailoring. Exploring the relationship between crafts and new visual imagery, we delved into Southeast Asia's noble past with a picturesque shot of a Vietnamese woman in traditional costume and clogs stepping from an ornate rickshaw. This distinctive duo inspired a line of upholstered furniture with a distinctive name: Xe kéo means two-wheeled rickshaw in Vietnamese.
The harmonious appearance of the collection attracts attention with the thickness of the cushions, located on a low wooden support. Forming a balanced volume that ensures maximum comfort. Its decoration uses genuine leather, thick textiles and varnished wooden elements. In homage to the rickshaw, the sinuous headrest merges with the wide backrest, but has its own cushion, as if stylizing the contour of the convertible roof. And the walls of the chair, which descend to the base, imitate a pair of wheels, turning into smooth armrests.
