I simply fell in love when I saw the ceramic bell, which is painted by Yulia Gushul and all the pottery work is done by Mykhailo Dzvonyk. In Levantin studio, we have been looking for a prototype for a long time to create an authentic product with Ukrainian cultural code. That is why I immediately had the idea of lamps with folk motifs in a modern interpretation. When we touch such objects, we unconsciously associate ourselves with them, reproducing in our memory the images of our ancestors' small homeland. Dzvonyk is a symbol of a new production that honours its culture by becoming wise receivers of artistic traditions. It means blending the craftsmanship of the past and the technology of the future to create a modern product with an artisanal component. Year of creation: 2019
