The cachepots are inspired by natural processes: in Norwegian, tarmer means "subsoil" — something that lies beneath the surface and can escape. The flower stems sticking out of the cachepots and the leaves spreading out symbolise the streams from the bowels of the earth rushing up to the sky. The plasticity of the plants is particularly emphasised by the geometric shape of the Tarmer and its flat edges. Every year you will witness the cycle of plant awakening, flower eruption, and fading into winter dormancy.
