The carpet has an abstract planar composition in the form of an arbitrarily folded paper sheet placed on a geometric grid. Free from aesthetic norms, the image plays on images associated with the constant search for new knowledge. Bold shapes and bright colours create a sense of insight and judicious clarity to everything that is going on around us. This design was inspired by the Memphis style of the 80s. "We reinterpreted the colours and graphics typical of that period and got a modern solution."
Neo-memphis has a warm colour palette based on solpherine, saffron, ash black, white and lemon hues. It is made using four colours, and is available in contrasting colour combinations, and in several sizes. Choose the largest size 2000x3000mm for the dining area; the round mat 1600x1600mm to place under the coffee table in the living room or bedroom; the narrow mat 2300x1600mm to create cosiness in the hallway or dressing room.
