The Ramus coat stand is an elegant interpretation of a familiar form from wildlife. It serves as a symbol of the return from a journey, embodying tranquillity and permanence. It is based on experiments in deconstructing the image of a tree: stripped of its detailed shell, it retains its original shape and the appropriate name Ramus, from the Latin for "branch". It radiates a sincere faith in the future and a powerful force of life. We have immortalised the warmth and bright sunshine of the tree by replacing wood with a durable analogue - steel pipe. The one-piece welded frame of the hanger prevents the elements from loosening, and its heavy weight allows it to withstand lateral loads. At the top, the rods are connected by a cross-shaped plate, which also serves as a place to place cane umbrellas. A certain poetry is added by the noble materials used on the tops of the branches. The polished metal ends, convenient for placing clothes or accessories, shimmer with lustre in the light. They are reminiscent of young shoots on dormant stems that wake up every year and give energy to grow again.
